Assisi dragons

I made this ATC for the January ATC swap at Stitchin Fingers. The pattern is one I found during Sharon’s Stitch Explorer challenge Assisi in 2009. I like the Medieval look of it and this swap was a great excuse to stitch it. The threads are stranded DMC, 2 strands for the cross stitches and 1 strand in a slightly darker colour for the backstitches. I couched knitting cotton at the edge. There’s a bigger photo of this ATC on my Flickr-page.

4 opmerkingen:

  1. Erg mooi en toch nog een aardige klus als je bedenkt dat de hele ATC eigenlijk geborduurd is. De ontvanger zal er blij mee zijn!

  2. I LOVE this, you really did a fantastic job working within the ATC parameters.

  3. I really like this. It has a real historical flavour to it, like a pattern on an old vase. Nicely stitched.
